Part of the Cross & Crescent cycle of albums, this one follows Christian wandering through the South as the main sympathetic character. His encounters with Saracen occur through that particularly southern tradition, and Saracen appears not as a person, but variously in many guises of faith and circumstance. There is no linear narrative through this one; just imagery and loose scenarios.
